Dear Sir/Madam,

With the opportunity of developing “Double First-Class Universities” and “New Liberal Arts”, the School of Chinese Language and Literature of Yunnan University and the World Chinese Literature and Southeast Asian & South Asian Literature Research Center of Yunnan University are committed to serving the research and talent training of Chinese literature in Southeast & South Asia. The 1^st Southeast & South Asia Chinese Literature Seminar will be held in Kunming, on May 28–29, 2022. According to the local regulations for the COVID-19 prevention and control, the seminar will be held online and offline. We hereby sincerely invite colleagues from academic circles at home and abroad to attend this seminar!

I. Seminar Topics

1.        Chinese Literature Research in Southeast Asia

2.        Chinese Literature Research in South Asia

3.        Comparative Research on Chinese Literature in Southeast and South Asia

4.        Comparative Research on Cross-lingual Literature in Southeast and South Asia

5.        Research on Chinese Literature from the Perspective of “New Liberal Arts”

6.        Research on Chinese Literature and Talent Training in Southeast and South Asia

II. Abstract Submission

All attendances are invited to submit a piece of abstract on the above topics. Please fill the registration form and send to the organizers by email before March 31, 2022. All contributors will be informed of the acceptance of submitted abstracts and issued formal invitations before April 15. Please use Chinese for the conference paper and its presentation.

III. Fees

No fees will be charged for this seminar. Conference meals will be available. Round-trip transportation and accommodation will be at your own expenses.

IV. Agenda

Sign-up: May 27, 2022

Online and Offline Seminar: May 28 all day and May 29 in the morning, 2022

Closure and Leave: May 29 afternoon, 2022.
